Cinco fer Cinco

Sometimes I crack myself up, and then worry that y'all aren't going to understand why. Like when I saw this first headline on Yahoo news today, and the punchline hove glitteringly into view, fully formed and, to me, amazingly funny.
.
.
And here's the punchline: Talyn couldn't be prouder.
.
Are your personal crickets chirping? If so, please go here.
.
(Good God, I'm such a geek. But the show was good! Especially D'Argo. Rowr! You can keep Crighton, gimme the big hairy dude with the fleshy cranial appendages anytime.....)
.
.
Buddha's next, and Confucious is compiling his list of thought-provoking queries as the closer.
.
.
Because all those new hires from Transylvania are getting tired of the same old stuff, and you do NOT want to make those folks angry.
.
.
And Cherie's appalled, because as if his failure to recognize the snooker shark wasn't enough, he's got go and attack the Elizabethan hutch, trashing the Spode and Wedgewood like the spoiled boi he is.
.
.
John Daly's set to shuffle, Tiger's scheduled to deal.
.
===============================
.
I could go on, but promised myself to stop at 5 in my own twisted little version of the Cinco de Mayo celebration, a holiday of which I know very little indeed but feel compelled to recognize, because, like on St Patrick's Day, I imagine that on Cinco de Mayo we're all a little bit Mexican, and need to indulge that part of ourselves in whatever way we deem appropriate.
.
Try not to be too disappointed, gentle readers, that I truncated myself. I'll be back with the usual voluminous spewage next week, I promise.
.
===============================
.
Oh, but wait! One more thing!
.
In my continuous search for ways to waste time on the internet, I came across this just now. For all y'all with a geeky sci-fi lovin' bone, check it out. So much nerdy goodness all in one place just about makes me want to cash in some of my sick time and just dive right on in....

Have you ever seen Anthony Simcoe without the makeup?! DOUBLE YUM!

I cried when Farscape was cancelled. I have re-watched the entire show start to finish, thanks to Blockbuster on line.

Have you see nthe dud who played scorpius without makeup? Smae deal.

I found out that they were in a band together - Scorpy on drums and D'Argo on geetahr. This is more than I ever needed to know about those 2 guys. :>

OK - I need to use spell check.

"Have you SEEN the DUDE who played Scorpius without makeup? SAME deal."

Oh, yes. Wayne Pegram. Mmmmm. Crighton's cute, but a little on the short side for my taste.

I wish that Sci Fi would just transfer all of Farscape's characters to Stargate SG-1 and be done with it! They already have Browder and Black, why not the rest of the gang?

I know, I know. I have totally out-geeked myself on this one. But I LOVE that show! [I know it was cancelled 2 years ago. I STILL love it!]

Farscape was one of my favorite shows too. Definitely geeked me out. I have an autographed pic of Wayne Pygram dressed as Scorpius. I noticed the other day that he was on Lost and I squealed so loud, my nephew nearly fell off the couch. Lord, I need a life.
