Have to believe there's a correlation between the 2 somehow, since everything except the actual "ache" is identical. Frequency, intenstiy, symptoms... all of it. The only difference now is that my brain shuts down and I can't think, read or speak during the episode.
Frustrating as hell with the vision loss and the mental paralysis, but Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18280368.post-1141145050553946462006-02-28T11:44:00.000-05:002006-02-28T11:44:00.000-05:00Kim - I think I would rather have had to deal with...Kim - I think I would rather have had to deal with a scrotum for half an hour than the scotoma. That happened once, years ago, and I almost did the Fred Sanford-ish chest clutching over it. Mostly, the vision gets spotty, like after standing up too quickly, and then builds from there. You can actually track it going across your field of vision, and if you close your eyes it can be rather spectacular. For some it's a prequel to a migraine, for others is merely a momentary break for the everyday. FOrortunately, I seem to be in the latter group - a slight tired headache was the only follow-on.

But.So.Not.Funny.tiffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01351692108818152561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18280368.post-1141080713259386022006-02-27T17:51:00.000-05:002006-02-27T17:51:00.000-05:00Wow...never heard of this one.
